Pricing Structure

It is important to note that the price of a translation depends on several factors:

  • Certification of the translation – Certified translations are generally more expensive. Most documents need to be certified in order to be valid in foreign countries.
  • Time required to produce a high-quality translation – The shorter the deadline, the smaller the possibility of an additional discount. This is one of our most important considerations, as the quality of our translations is our greatest pride and the foundation of every trust-based collaboration.
  • Complexity and volume of the source text – We may offer discounts for larger volumes of text, and since we are one of the translation offices handling texts from all fields, complexity rarely poses a problem.
  • Additional formatting or editing – Occasionally required for more complex catalogues and brochures.

Price

The exact price of a translation can only be determined once the documents to be translated are provided. However, the base price may vary depending on the above-mentioned factors.

Whenever possible, we are happy to accommodate your needs – for standardized documents or larger volumes of text, we offer quotes that are fair and mutually beneficial.

You can be sure that we will always do our best to provide you with the most favorable solution!

Standard Page (“Kartica”)

When calculating translation costs, we use the standard translation page (“kartica”) as the unit of measurement.
One page equals 1,500 characters without spaces or 1,800 characters with spaces.

A “character” includes every letter, number, punctuation mark, or symbol — that is, everything except blank spaces.

According to the Regulation on Court Interpreters, a written translation is calculated per line of 50 characters, with the smallest billing unit being one page of 30 lines. Every typed character (letter, punctuation mark, formula, or symbol) is included in the calculation.

You can easily check the number of pages of your document in Microsoft Word by selecting “Review” → “Word Count.”
Then divide the number of characters (without spaces) by 1,500, or the number of characters (with spaces) by 1,800 — the result is the total number of standard pages.
